Elon: Villanova defensive backs coach Tony Trisciani will be the defensive coordinator at Elon source tells FootballScoop. Villanova was ranked No. 1 country in total defense in FCS in 2016.

also on Elon Staff during Pete Lembo's initial reign.

Nice hire by Elon. Coach Trisciani is a solid coach who was responsible for DBs on this year's #1 defense in FCS as ranked by the NCAA. (trying to avoid normal noise)

He was also the recruiting coordinator this past season.
