Curt Cignetti was tabbed the new Elon University head football coach on Saturday, Dec. 31, and reactions came pouring in on social media from across the country. Cignetti comes to Elon from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he served as the head coach for the past six seasons, amassing a record of 53-17 (.757). Cignetti was also the wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator on Nick Saban's staff at Alabama from 2007-10, helping the Crimson Tide to a national title in 2009 and a perfect 14-0 season.
