I felt the same way when teams stated carrying long snappers.

A development league would make a lot of sense for younger players, those who aren't quite ready for the NFL or don't have the academics to play in the NCAA.
This league, however, seems geared to older players who didn't make the cut, and doesn't seem to add much.
