There was some banter on other threads about academics and it got me wondering about the final four. I wanted to compare the Us News Rankings but it is hard since NDSU is considered a national university and the others are considered regional so the rankings are different. Here is some general googled data:
Enrollment
James Madison 21,227
NDSU 14,432
East Wash 12,279
Youngstown 12,801
Average ACT Score of Students Attending
James Madison 25
NDSU 24
East Wash 21
Youngstown 21
Endowment
James Madison $81.9 million
NDSU $138 million
Eastern Wash $52.2 million
Youngstown $226 million
Population Town and MSA
Harrisonburg, VA 48,914 / 120,271
Fargo, ND 113,658 / 228,557
Cheney, WA 10,590 / 547,825 (gov't has Cheney as part of Spokane MSA while others listed are the main entity in the MSA)
Youngstown, OH 65,784 / 558,206
All 4 universities are public. These numbers should be very close but if you find numbers slightly different don't scream at me. Not certain it tells a lot but I was curious.
