There's a few others as well. Essentially you can't make it to the end. You need everyone to pick the final wrong and then you would tie for first granted you survive this next round.

I haven't played but followed it through the playoffs. How many folks picking EWU have both JMU and NDSU left? Otherwise the JMU/NDSU game is kind of a sub-eliminator game too. Didn't even think about that until OH's post - who obviously has played this almost perfectly to this point.

I'm not in the game but I'm curious. BisonTru, maybe you've covered it but what happens if you survive to the Natty and you've picked both participating teams in previous rounds? Just to get to the Natty you would've had to have picked one of the participating teams the week before.

You can't make a pick so you're eliminated. A couple posters are already in that dilemma.

A quick glance 12 posters have used either JMU or NDSU.

I made my bed last week picking EWU. I have to pick YSU this week but if I survive I'll be in lonely company with both JMU and NDSU still available.

Ironically YSU is responsible for most of the survivors advancing to this point, but in a few cases it has locked them out of winning.

That's kind of where I am. The "correct" play for me is JMU, because I could then use the YSU/EWU winner in the final.
Plus, no matter what I need JMU to win tonight to have a chance to survive the whole thing since I've already used NDSU.
But, if I think JMU will win it all, I need to pick the EWU/YSU winner this round.

My bracket pool has JMU beating EWU in the final, so the picks in Survivor allow for concurrent success or to still have a shot in Survivor should JMU lose to NDSU.
