As a fan I won't lie I'm plenty nervous about this game but I'm usually nervous by the time the quarters roll around. There's no such thing as an easy game at this point.

Having said that these Bison players are wired differently than their fans are and they're not going to be the least bit nervous judging from what I've heard from them in the past and leading up to this game. SDSU is going to have to play better than they did two months ago in the Fargodome to pull off another win.

In all seriousness, the Bison better contain TC in his running or it will be a long day.

NDSU's secondary has improved but Wieneke and Goedert are a nightmare matchup.

If Entz sits back in his base Tampa-2 all game long, the Bison will lose IMO. Our nickel CB has been improving but he needs to have a great game.

Bison offense needs to mix it up like yesterday.

Probably a close game and mistakes/turnovers will decide it.

Ok, so I have shaken off the doubt from the last game, this one is indoors. I think the Jacks take this one again. Yeah the bison have looked better, but they have been playing against a lot worse teams than they started the year with. For those that say SDSU is playing worse, ndsu and SDSU have both finished their seasons against USeD and UNI. The USeD game is a wash, and SDSU gave UNI their worst beating they took all season while it took a late INT by NDSU to finally seal a close game. If any group has improved the most it has been SDSUs defense. I doubt SDSU puts up 500+ yards again, but I don't think they get completely shut down. Hopefully this last game was from them peeking ahead to this game and they are 100% locked in. Would love to be the team that #KillsTheStreak

If Polasek doesn't get cute and mixes it up to keep the Jacks defense guessing then the Bison have a good chance of winning. If he goes into conservative mode then it will be a long day.

Control TC's running is a must.

I think the Bison run for at least 300 in this one. It is going to be hard fought, but SDSU's first trip to the quarters isn't going to end well. Our nickle base defense appears to be playing well with Dom Davis showing big improvement, and maybe more surprisingly Wimbush as well.

Just overheard Entz's game plan for this week is implementing a new 2-1-8 scheme. Should be lights out for the bunnies. Also Polesek is refining the offensive playbook and making some significant changes to his game plan. Apparently he is going to run it into the pile on all 3 downs next week. Let's see, in big games this year:

19-17 win over NDSU where they completely changed their game plan against NDSU
24-10 win over Youngstown State (big game because it was immediately after the win over NDSU, prime time for SDSU to have a let down)
45-24 win over UNI to secure co-champs of the Valley
10-7 win over Villanova in the second round of the playoffs. Wasn't the best game but this time of year, a win is a win.

Yea, Villanova got a touchdown, they were going to kick a field goal but I guess they changed their mind. I think SDSU called a time out which probably gave Villanova a chance to get their **** together.

Keep something in mind with Stig. His teams seem to always lay an egg after a bye week. They come out flat and listless. I'm not sure why but it could be Stig's laid back coaching style. I'm glad we got the bye, Christon and DG needed to get healthy but I was worried that we would come out just the way we did, no energy against a really good defense and a well coached team.

Let's see, in big games this year:

19-17 win over NDSU where they completely changed their game plan against NDSU
24-10 win over Youngstown State (big game because it was immediately after the win over NDSU, prime time for SDSU to have a let down)
45-24 win over UNI to secure co-champs of the Valley
10-7 win over Villanova in the second round of the playoffs. Wasn't the best game but this time of year, a win is a win.


Yes, SDSU has struggled in big games in the past but I'd say he's done OK this year.
