Like Ive been saying all along. It's NDSU & the rest of us.

The rest of the MVFC plays at our level. SDSU beat my Wildcats (barely), but they weren't as good as JMU or Richmond with Lauletta at QB IMHO. That's not a slight just something I believe 100% when reading about how great the MVFC is. The MVFC has several very good teams like the CAA.

The rest of us are all on the same playing field more or less. NDSU is another story.

Greatness only resides in Fargo. They are like a giant python taking your breath away at some point as they play just fundamentally sound football better than anyone. JMU will be a better test for NDSU, but it's a lot to think they will beat them in Fargo.

Congrats SDSU. You had a nice team. I enjoyed the visit & your fans even in defeat.

I feel bad for SDSU. If there is one team I respect out of all other teams, it is SDSU. I will hate them for 1 to 2 weeks a year, but the other 50 to 51 weeks, I have nothing but respect for them. Coach Stig seems like an honorable man (outside of Videogate of course xlolx) and I look forward to seeing them again next season as they attempt to defend their Co-MVFC championship.

This, it's unbelievable how bad the play calling was, save for the gimmick play. It's like they were so surprised we were up by 10 that they didn't know what to do. I am so sick of watching a base defense with D line shifts being the only movement. It has to be easy calling plays and playing against that look. On offense, I don't care that we didn't have the ball for long, how did we not throw the ball more?!

I have to say for SDSU to get better they need a couple of better RB's. Get a transfer or 2. SDSU is risking it's QB by giving him some of that duty. IMO in my completely subjective opinion NDSU has 2 possibly up to 5-6 better RB's.

I took off from the conference early. Made it back late Wednesday (was supposed to last till Friday afternoon, but I ducked out early). And pretty much just showed up for the game, I figured it left more food for the other people. :D How is Montana?

It is quite enjoyable. I fly out tomorrow. Spent Thursday evening and yesterday morning in Big Sky at the base of Lone Mountain. Punished my liver severely last night at the Broken Heart Ranch and woke up with one leg on the floor and my arm tossed over my head on a couch. Had no idea how I got back to the Misty Chateau outside of Big Sky, but I found a way I guess. The mountains were perfect and has been one of the best weekends I have had in a long time. Just typing this up at the LaQuinta in Bozeman and now watching America's game (outside of the Bison of course), Army vs Navy.

Yes, it was a punch, at the ball, just like the one he made right before that. I was in the stadium and that angle showed him punching but you couldn't see what he was punching at. You see what you want to see. The angle in the stadium was actually worse than this one, because you couldn't see what he was punching, and in this video it's clearly not malicious.

Back from the game:

1. Hats off to the Bison defense. Holding the Jacks to 42 yards after the 1st quarter is awesome. It looked like the same old situation after the Jacks went up 10-0 but the defense tightened up and pitched a shut out after that.

2. The Bison OL showed up today and dominated the LOS. 302 yards rushing was needed in today's game. Long drives kept the Jack's offense off the field.

3. TOP: Almost 41 minutes. Perfect time to have it.

4. Good crowd today.

5. 10/13 on 3rd down for the Bison. They needed to stay on the field and they did.

6. On to the semis.

That was the intent by the way he had his arm clocked. Had he not slid 1 foot further, that would have been a square shot. I enjoy watching my brawls and MMA and know exactly why he had his arm clocked like that. No one would come that hard straight down when the guy is already down if there was no intent. While he got lucky having the runner escape, there was intent on the 2nd shot. I get that he got him in the gut, which can be more painful since it was closer to the kidney, but he wanted to make sure he "went down swinging"
