People make mistakes, get it wrong sometimes. Don't be a dick. Also how have the longhorns been the last 5 seasons?

Aw, you mad bro? Too bad.

Not mad at all. I picked JMU to win you dumbass. I didn't pick the score right. You suck so much you can't even troll right

Congrats to JMU. The gap in talent was enormous. Domo Taylor would be UNH's best WR, and Sharpe would probably compete with Crossan as the #1 RB. Your punter could probably outplay our QB.

Not as long as they remain FCS. Outside of Richmond last year I've never seen it more than 1/2 full.....

Well we had a sell out this year, but sure, let's trust the opinion of the Lehigh fan who checks in once or twice a year at best.
If only we could be a state flagship in Montana that is the biggest ticket in our state and has no professional, P5 or fbs competition in the state.

I was very happy with out turnout today. I didn't see the figure yet but I'm sure it's a program record playoff attendance. Our crowd noise hurt unh at key moments and pushed the momentum in our favor.

I'm so happy the couple of UNH's fans I've pissed off on this thread are hurting. For a guy that doesn't know how to troll right that's important to me. What's even better is the JMU doubters can now go back into hibernation, at least until next week.

I don't mind at all, not like we expected UNH to win the NC.... just mad we started the wrong QB, regardless of how the game would have went with the other. Good luck in your bowl game this year........oh wait.....nvm

Official attendance was listed at 13,231, which is not a JMU playoff record.

Hopefully students will turn out this Friday (like they did for Gameday last year) for a nationally televised game. It would be great to see 8k of them like we do at the beginning of the season. Unfortunately, the weather forecast is for bitter cold, it's the start of final exams, and the students won't be able to draw for free tickets like they do during the regular season. Perhaps the administration will step in and cover the students cost of the playoff game(s), after all, the student's athletic fees are paying for 80% of the varsity athletics program. Not that a free ticket will negate the other two factors impacting student attendance, cold being the most challenging.

Don't mean to be a dick, but was JMU's stadium expansion really necessary?

You're pretty far off the mark TU Owl. Bridgeforth had a capacity of 13,500 in 2007 before construction started. Capacity is now "officially" 25k although we've had a couple sellouts closer to or above 26 I believe. Our regular season average attendance this year was 21,646. You do the math.

i just hope we're not going to spend the next week talking about how hard it is to beat a team twice in the same season. it's such unbelievable horses**t but people love to say it.

1.) how often does it even happen? both teams have to make the playoffs, then be paired up. it's a relatively small sample size.
2.) there are plenty of examples when the team that won the first time also won the second time. no one ever posts about that, though.

I'm posting about that now, simply because I'm making it my personal mission to dispel that asinine theory about beating the same team twice. It's stupid and if you believe in it, then you also believe David Blaine may actually be God.

Just for clarity, I'm not saying that revenge never occurs, so don't misinterpret. I'm saying there is no correlation between losing once then winning the revenge game. None.

We were in zone coverage for that entire game [first matchup between JMU and UNH] for some unknown reason. We need good pressure (Very difficult against this line) and force Schor to throw into tight windows.

according to Houston, UNH almost exclusively played man during the game Saturday. He said, "I'll take our guys one-on-one in man coverage against just about anybody." We're a tough team to match up against, since we have a variety of ways to win.

UNH fans, you have had a fantastic season. Congrats again on extending your consecutive playoff appearance record. You should be very proud of the team, you have represented the CAA well. Hopefully the CAA will actually schedule you to come to our stadium at some point in the next 100 years. We'd love to host you again in the regular season.

Also I don't care which team you're a fan of, 13 years in a row in the playoffs is commendable and something huge to be proud of.

Thanks guys. At heart we're all brothers in arms in the CAA. I was almost as upset to see 'Nova lose to SDSU as I was to see UNH lose to you guys. I really don't see SHSU matching up well against you. We have great man to man corners and still couldn't match up. Good luck the rest of the way. Also, I think the CAA rotation switches this year. UNH should see Villanova and JMU replace William and Mary and Towson.
