Senior running back Jonah Hodges scored three touchdowns and surpassed the 100-yard mark in rushing for the eighth time this season as San Diego, a 38-16 loser to Cal Poly in September, defeated the Mustangs 35-21 in the opening round of the 2016 NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs on Saturday inside Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
