To leave after one year, that was 3-8, would make it seem BVG was running away from failure. This would certainly mean an end to any hopes he has at head coaching in the future because no one takes another risk on a flake like that. From the few times I've met Coach VG he does not strike me as that type of man.

Wrong or right, I'd have to expect to hear the same thing about A.D. Sam Baker soon as well.
