Not really. A trainer helped some players pass a class and the NCAA is hammering them because they self-reported it and looked into it so the NCAA decided to vacate two years of wins. But the NCAA has been investigating North Carolina for years and done absolutely nothing.

As soon as the school knew about it, they looked it into. The players were suspended for the 2014 year with only Russell coming back in 2015.

I honestly can't believe this is a story. ND was rather proactive when it happened. Harvard dealt with a similar situation. Even if you hate ND the NCAA is acting like their typical moronic selves once again. What are they trying to accomplish by doing this now?

At least the students passed. Georgia Southern vacated wins due to an athletic department employee cheating (and the "student-athletes" still failed).
