On another note, as I had to listen to a San Diego broadcast when Mercer played them in 2013, I can confirm we're really missing a treat if they still have their same color guy. All of his color commentary related back to his days when he was a STAR for the Toreros. And the Play-by-Play guy kept setting him up to tell the stories of his many achievements and game-winning feats. It was ALL about HIM the WHOLE game...and it was hilarious (unintentionally, in a Ron Burgundy way). With SD whipping C-P, I imagine his ego would be in hyperdrive and I would LOVE to hear him tell us all about himself...while the Toreros win (maybe) the biggest game in the history of their Program.

Normally I'd say 11k for room and board is ridiculous, but here it isn't.

My university subsidized apartment is 14.5k a year alone + utilities.

ZERO offensive or defensive plan from our coaching staff, and the players were NOT ready to play. Our defense was their regular: No pass rush, NO tackling, and NO secondary coverage. I expected that, but nobody expected the offense to sit this one out as well. Don't worry NDSU. Next week will be a 68-0 blowout by the Bison. This season was a complete bust. Oh... BTW, Toreros should come pick up the mythical California FCS trophy.

First and foremost, this was a coaching fiasco. We had absolutely NO game plan offensively or defensively. I honestly believe our coaches just took the week off, figuring they had it won. Next, the players, yes they were beat up a bit, but regardless, they did not come prepared to win. San Diego dominated the line on both sides. Our D was their usual crappy self, but the O was nowhere to be found tonight either. Complete embarrassment. A descent JC team would have beat us tonight.

CP hasn't played particularly well since they won by 20 in Portland six weeks ago. I thought they'd still get by USD, but I wasn't shocked by this upset since Cal Poly clearly isn't the team they were the first half of the season.

Give us the run down then.

USD's DL averages 246 lbs. NDSU loves to ground/pound teams. I think our QB will have an efficient day passing with the play action and could have a big day running the ball.

Poly's defense is nothing compared to NDSU's.

Give us the Pioneer run down. Seriously, I'm interested.

Their athletes really weren't that impressive, any team that could reasonably throw the ball and run a half way decent route was going to beat CP yesterday. Every bit of speed and quickness of CP was negated by that muck yesterday. CP's D hasn't been good all season but they had no chance in that slop, and the early USD scores really demoralized them.

I will be flat out shocked, if USD manages to score a TD against the Bison. Maybe a FG but not a TD. It's going to be 70-3 IMO, USD has literally no chance against the Bison.
