Updated list of FCS At Large Playoff Eligible teams, organized by conference.

Three additional teams clinched their conference titles last weekend (11/12): James Madison (CAA); St. Francis (NEC); Citadel (Southern). Eastern Washington clinched the Big Sky auto-bid last night with a win over Portland State, holding the tie breaker over North Dakota.

Another large swath of teams were also eliminated from at-large playoff eligibility last week, with a handful of teams needing a win this week to continue their slim playoff hopes.

Note: Teams preceded by an asterisk (*) have already reached the 6 win benchmark; those listed in bold need to win all remaining games to reach 6 Division I wins. The list will be updated throughout Saturday (11/19) as results become final.

We haven't clinched the autobid yet. If we lose to Martin, they get it because we both will have one conference loss, and they would have the head-to-head win.

Big South question .. this conference has some oddities it this year.

- CCU is going FBS and therefore not eligible for FCS playoff

- CSU (6-3, 4-1)) scheduled 11 games, with 2 against bad D-II teams only to have one of the D-II games canceled due to hurricane. Still only playing 9 D-I games, and sitting 5-3 in D-I games going into Kennesaw St game

- Kennesaw St (8-2, 3-1) has 3 games against bad D-II teams, did not play CCU for some reason. So they will only have played 5 conference games after today.

- Liberty (6-5, 4-2) ought to be out of consideration based on their resume .. beaten easily by 5 best teams they played.

So auto bid will be decided today by CSU and Kennesaw St .. if Kennesaw St wins, they will get auto bid for playing just 5 conference games, benefiting by not playing CCU like CSU and Liberty did .. and further having played just 8 D-I games. In short, I don't care if they have 6 wins .. they are only 6-2 in D-I games. They shouldn't be eligible with so few D-I games in and out of conference.

Invalid. If KSU wins they share the conference title with Liberty but Liberty won the H2H and gets the AQ. If CSU wins they share the conference title with Liberty and CSU gets the AQ from beating Liberty H2H. Only way for KSU to get in is to beat CSU and somehow get an at-large which is about a 5% chance if that.
