Homer alert!

This might be Beau Baldwin's best coaching job yet.

This year we were picked as low as 4th in the Big Sky. We had a QB controversy. We opened with Washington State, @ NDSU, UNI, and @ NAU.

Most EWU fans were expecting 7-4 or 8-3 and hoping for at best a 2-2 start but probably 1-3 and a couple more losses in conference. Not saying he should win but to not make the list seems like a serious omission.

This^^, also think Grass deserves to be on the list.

It's Andy Coen, not Cohen. Old saying up our way. If you ain't Dutch, you ain't much!

Coen has done a fine job this year. Preseason Lehigh ranked 3rd in PL and lost first two games by close scores. No one panicked and the team improved immensely over the following weeks. The tight-knit comraderie of the team is palpable. He has done a good steady job of leading the program for 11 years. Plus, he's a good man.

No need for the Homer Alert - Beau Baldwin does indeed deserve to be on the list.

I think he was trumped (no pun intended) by the fact that Bubba Schweigert has done an absolutely incredible job turning around the dumpster fire at UND that Chris Mussman left in his wake. Wasn't UND picked to finish lower (5th?) than EWU in the Big Sky (not sure)? I really believe that Bubba has done more with less than EWU has, and that is ultimately why Bubba is in and Beau got left out of the conversation. That is not meant as a slight at all on Beau, as he has done a hell of a job with EWU this year.

I don't. The offense has been very inconsistent, the kicking game is terrible and we have way too many penalties. We are lucky to play in a crappy conference.

2016 - 9-2

I would go with Mike Houston as he has made big immediate changes at two schools. On the other hand, he may be on his way to FBS before the vote is taken.

If he goes FBS right away, I hope he doesn't raid us for a few coaches once he lands.
