In 1988 Sean Payton crossed the Atlantic from Arena Football, and became the QB of the Leicester Panthers. He led them to a 8-5-1 record and they bowed out at the quarter-final stage, after over 2,100 passing yards and 21TDs. He ranked 6th in the country in 1988.
