North Carolina A&T came away with a gritty 30-20 win over South Carolina State Saturday at Aggie Stadium to improve to 8-1 overall and 6-0 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. They were rewarded on Monday with a slight bump up in both national polls, while holding steady atop the black college football polls.
