Sure UDLAP beat them 36-13 in their meeting a few weeks ago, but SDSU was able to be the GOTW after never beating NDSU, and then they did! (or maybe they weren't the GOTW, but I remember being told it wouldn't even be close) Also anything can happen at the Crater Azul!

i get confused as to what these polls actually do. if you get game of the week, does anything else happen? i remember at one time, there was a video preview of the game made. does that happen now, or is it just a title you get then we all forget about it? serious question, i honestly don't know.

I didn't know what the two games were until a few minutes ago. I think both are real important but man as far as just being in the playoffs and how very important this Big South game is....I can't believe this CSU/Liberty game is not winning. It got my vote for sure.

I think part of it could be that no one expects Liberty to win. Add in that both are title games and the CAA draws more interest.
