Sophomore quarterback Zach Bednarczyk (Wallington, N.J.) passed for over 300 yards for the first time in his career and No. 10 Villanova (7-2, 5-1 CAA Football) pulled away from Maine (5-4, 4-2 CAA Football) to tally a 26-7 victory at Alfond Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Bednarczyk threw for 326 yards on 23-ox-31 passing to lead the Wildcats, who scored the final 16 points of the game.
