Eastern Illinois football remained ranked in the FCS Coaches Top 25 polls but dropped out of the rankings in the two other FCS polls that were all released on Monday.* The Panthers lost at No. 2 Jacksonville State on Saturday falling to 5-4 on the season.** EIU will host UT Martin this Saturday at 1 p.m. at O'Brien Field for EIU's senior day game.* Tickets can be purchased by calling 217-581-2106 or online at www.eiupanthertickets.com * EIU remained in the top 25 rankings in the FCS Coaches poll as they fell from No. 22 to No. 24 in this week's rankings.** The Panthers were listed as the second team also receiving votes in the STATS FCS Media Top 25 to rank No. 27 in the nation.* In the HERO Sports Media Top 25, EIU dropped to No. 32 in the nation, the seventh team also receiving votes.** UT Martin was listed among the schools also receiving votes in all three polls as the Skyhawks are currently second in the OVC race with a 4-1 OVC record. * Sam Houston State, Jacksonville State, Eastern Washington and North Dakota State all received first place votes as they were top four teams in the FCS Coaches Top 25.* James Madison was fifth followed by Richmond, The Citadel, Chattanooga, Charleston Southern and North Carolina A&T in the top ten.* North Dakota was ranked 11th followed by Villanova, Youngstown State, Western Illinois, South Dakota State, Cal Poly, Central Arkansas, Samford, Grambling State and Montana in the top twenty.* The final five ranked schools in the FCS Coaches poll were Lehigh, Harvard, New Hampshire, Eastern Illinois and Stony Brook.
