UNH: Stony Brook
UNI: Iowa State

JMU: Maine, UNH. It's a weird season this year when those are our best wins and UD W&M are not.

UCA: FBS 5 time Sunbelt champion Arkansas State. Earlier this year top 15 McNeese State. Dominated teams on the road by an average of 35 points. That's always a plus.

UCA - The Bears are for real. Can't wait to see that game with SAM.
Also Wofford - Most underrated team in SoCon. UTC better not sleep on the Terriers.

I listed UNI because some other teams have it. Same deal with South Dakota - if North Dakota is going to claim that as a good win, then it must be a good win for Western Illinois and Youngstown.

They are/were Top 25 in Massey and polls. Thought it might count.

Yeah, for UNH, it's SBU. That's a solid win. They've beaten North Dakota and Richmond (both ranked). SBU will likely finish with 6 or 7 wins and 2 or 3 conference losses.

Obviously these are not all my teams but I think I understand what the list is for and since I was already looking why not look some more.
Great idea on compiling a list of quality wins for each team. This would be very helpful for the top 25 poll each week.

Lehigh has none unless you include Fordham, but it really doesn't matter if we win conference. No chance of seed.

Penn and Princeton are "good wins" too. Not great but good. Penn has a great chance to win the Ivy League which would be a boost.
Lehigh pissed away a real shot at a seed with their first half against Monmouth. I just want a home playoff game....

Honestly I think you need to take UNI off of anyone's list. We are a 3-5 team right now with a legit chance to finish 4-7 or 3-8. I don't know how we ever beat Iowa State, but we are not good right now.

Would have needed an 11-0 record to even be in the conversation. Even then, I think we'd only be 7 or 8 at absolute best.

Seriously though... I think we can stop counting South Dakota as a good win. Their only 'good win' would be against Weber State, if you want to call it that. Their other wins are against the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to last teams in the Valley... I know the Valley is strong, but come on.

They'll disappear from the list if they don't win two of the next three (which would require beating SDSU or NDSU) but they did beat Weber State who has 1 loss in Big Sky play (FWTW). Plus, UND is listing both USD and Weber as big wins.

Nipples,
The thread is titled "Your teams best wins". Considering USD and Weber were both in the Top 25 polls last week, that qualifies, IMO.
But you let us know what the criteria is....

Would anyone list us as their best win? Probably Bucknell. Maybe Colgate -- by default only but I'd say Bucknell is more impressive right now.

Any MVFC win is a good win for every other conference. Don't forget, those 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to last teams in the Valley would be the top team in any other conference. :D

I've been kind of down on Stony Brook, but with wins of UND and Richmond, even if SBU loses to Maine, but beats W&M and Albany (high probability), they will have a solid case to get in at 7-4. This is a team you are rooting against if you are a bubble team from another conference.

Ouch. There is a razor's edge between winning and losing in the FCS. On the plus side, that means a team can go from 3-8 to 8-3 in one season without major changes.

Good question, I was wondering that myself.
I'm going more with what people think their good wins are.
On the flip side, ask yourself what a team's record would be if they played @Iowa State, Montana, @Eastern Washington, Southern Illinois, @USD, @YSU, Missouri State, NDSU. There are several top 20 teams that would be lucky to have 3 wins with that schedule. That said, like USD, they've got to win two of the next three to remain a good win for anybody.

Albany: gotta be Buffalo, an FBS such as they are. Otherwise, for NY Crusader 2010, the best is probably Holy Cross.
