Florida's 41-14 win over Ohio State marked the largest margin of victory in bowl history for an AP-ranked No. 2 team over a No. 1. Which team had held that record?

Actually #1 USC defeated #2 Oklahamo 55-19 thats a 36 point gap some 9 points larger then Floridas win over Ohio State

I'm going to guess Florida's win over FSU in 1996, their other "National Championship" (not sure though, if UF was #2 at the time)

Miami's luck ran out versus the hard-nosed defense of Alabama, who dominated Miami in the Sugar Bowl to win the national title by a score of 34-13.

In the 1993 Sugar Bowl No. 2 Alabama beat top-ranked Miami 34-13 to win the national title.
