Wofford linebacker John Patterson was released from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center late on Wednesday and has returned to campus. Patterson suffered a fracture of the C6 vertebra during the first half of the football game on Saturday against The Citadel. On Sunday, he had surgery to fuse several vertebrae.
