I posted it on the all-star game invite list earlier today. He was actually invited yesterday. The LB from Nebraska backed out for the Senior Bowl and opened up a spot for him I was told.

Congrats to him! No matter how he got there he truly deserves it!

Kyle Shotwell is the 3rd Cal Poly player in 3 years to get the invite following Jordan Beck and Chris Gocong. It had been a 50 year span since Poly had a player in this game. The last had been Stan Sherriff in 1954. He is the guy on my avatar. He also played in the NFL and was the head coach at Northern Iowa for about 23 years. He was also the AD at Hawaii.
