Saint Francis took sole possession of first place in the NEC standings by defeating the defending champions in the #NECFB on ESPN3 Game of the Week. Bryant and Sacred Heart recorded league victories at home while Central Connecticut played the lone non-conference contest on the full Week 8 slate.
