MSU

Misery St comes out angry after getting embarrassed on the road. I wouldn't be surprised if SIU manages to win, but its at MSU so I'll go with the Bears.

SDSU

Possible trap game for SDSU after two huge wins and a run of going 4-0 through the toughest part of the schedule. At ISUr, but I like how the Jacks defense has been playing, and the SDSU offense needs to kind of get back on track, scoring under 30 not once but twice. Still just too much for the deadbirds.

WIU

I think the Leathernecks realized that they are good enough to play against anyone after this last game with the Bison, and see playoffs on the horizon. Not terribly confident in the game, but I think WIU is just the better team.

YSU

Won't shock me if they drop this, its getting close to November after all. But their defense will be looking to prove a point after having their stud defensive ends held to zero sacks for the first time last week. Penguins chop down the Trees.

UNI

Farley deviously dropped the first games on the Panthers schedule just to make it look worse for the Bison when they lose at UNI xlolx. Looks to be a typical UNI team with their backs against the wall, and NDSU didn't looke exactly dominant against WIU. Tough schedule starting to wear on NDSU. NDSU getting into dangerous territory if they drop this game and one more.

I'm gonna have to go back through and recount. Because you definitely messed my score up this week. I went 3-2 in my picking and you recorded 0-5...

Southern Illinois @ Missouri St - Why not? The Salukis are dead to rights this year and the Bears are still mathematically alive.

South Dakota St @ Illinois St - I don't think this will be a blowout but it will be comfortable for SDSU... similar to the YSU game.

Western Illinois @ South Dakota - This is the GOTW in the Valley IMO. I think the Necks play with a little extra fire with their old coaching staff on the opposing sidelines.

Indiana St @ Youngstown St - I don't think the Trees hit double digits in this game so it's a comfortable win for the Penguins.

North Dakota St @ Northern Iowa - My head tells me I should pick UNI but I think with my gut and it says Bison.

South Dakota State - done with the Homer picks. ISUr can't beat anyone in a close game. I don't see that changing this week.
South Dakota - expect a slugfest. The Nielson Bowl. New defeats old team.
Youngstown State - it's almost November, but not quite. YSU wins a blowout.
North Dakota State - tempting to pick UNI, but not really that brave.

The Salukis played the last three games with their third string RB as Isom (starter) and Mixon have been out with injuries--also have missed having 2 of 3 starting WRs injured--that's why their scoring has gone down--Ison and Mixon will be back fore MSU and one of WR starters
