I have come to the conclusion that the coaches doing these must be from the FBS ranks. Right? For the amount of effort put into them that is about how much I think they care.

The coaches probably spend most of their time dealing with coaching their own team. I doubt any coach really knows what is going on outside his own conference. They are probably some of the most unqualified to do a national poll- coaching a D-I team is really time consuming.
