Kind of bummed to see Eli off the list.

Even more bummed to see him try to pass. That surgery really screwed up his arm. Hopefully, he can get it together.

I can understand why he was dropped. Our offense isn't exactly clicking right now. Offense isn't clicking and we can still drop nearly 400 yards on LSU. That's scary. Hopefully we can use the rest of the regular season to get the offense settled into a groove. Eli not overthrowing everyone will definitely help that process though.

I think part of the problem as well has been that we've been playing Musical Recievers because of injuries and otherwise. Also he didn't practice at all last week due to injury and that likely helped contribute to a poor showing against Peay.

Color me shocked.

Every single one of them is in the list.

SCFBF how are you weighting the yds vs TDs?

WR Jake Wieneke, South Dakota State, Jr.- 39 catches, 703 yards, 18.0avg, 11 TD, 1.83 td/gm, 117.2 yds/gm in 6 games.
WR Cooper Kupp, Eastern Washington, Sr.- 46 catches, 72 yards, 15.5avg, 7 TD, 1.4 td/gm, 142.4 yds/gm, 9 carries, 44 yards, 1-1, 22 yards passing in 5 games.

What is the logic behind Kupp in the top 5 and not Wieneke? (Easiest of the top 5 to compare to because they are both WR)

Also, I notice you listed carries and passing for Kupp but did not list for the others.

I was referring to his top5.

Ah.

I just do not get it. Thumper and I have gone back and forth since the Cal Poly game and I said one of those 3 will be OPY in the Valley and will compete for the Walter Payton Award. I stand behind that comment and if one of those 3 isn't in the top3 for that award, I will be shocked and call it a travesty. Goedert should win John Mackey Award as I think he is the best TE in all of D1 football and probably all of NCAA football.

Can't believe Gatlin Casey WR of Lehigh isn't getting any notice. Must be averaging about 150 receiving yards/game over last four games.

He only averaged 3 receptions for 40 yards in the first three games. Good numbers lately, but bad beginning, against lesser competition.

I'm a Liberty guy I know but you gotta have Juwan Wells and Stephen Calvert on their respective potential additions lists

Thanks for compiling this stuff! Might I suggest moving LB Shaheed Salmon from the possible add list to the actual list. Leads the SoCon in tackles and tackles for loss, 5th and 4th in the nation in those stats respectively.

Also, may want to consider CB Omari Williams as a possible addition. 1st in the SoCon in passes defended, 7th nationally.

Can remove David Jones from the list...he's out for the season.

Should take a look at Brian Brown (http://www.richmondspiders.com/fls/26800/football/2016Stats/teamcume.htm), WR Richmond. Advertised as preseason All-American and is living up to the honor.

He has a rushing TD also.

Kade Harrington apparently has a broken foot according to hus coach. His career is done.

Hope he heals up for the NFL combine.

Wow, when is the last time a UM player was on the offensive list past the preseason? Chase Reynolds?

Also, I don't suppose Lorenzo Jerome is going to get extra credit for playing offense too, lol. Dude is a beast.

Nathan Steward at WR is having an exceptional Freshman year so far.

Watching the YSU SDSU game Avery Moss looks as good or better than Rivers. Not enough stats for maybe this list but he should be on the radar IMO.

Stephen Calvert with another big day for Liberty: 27/34 350 Yards 3 TD. Might want to have him on your radar if not on your watch list SCFB Fan

Just to update. New Hampshire's Prince Smith Jr. leads the CAA in passes defended and now has 5 ints with two returned for TD's. Definitely should be under serious consideration for Freshman of the Year honors.
