I'm really torn on where to post this here... but it seems interesting that some pro teams, sports-related advocacy and nonprofit organizations and associations, and even a few college teams and conferences (Pac-12, Colorado and UChicago) have gone to tackle this global problem.

The NHL could start by moving teams out of warm weather states and shorten the season so they aren't paying to keep ice cold in June. :)
