And to answer the money post, backouts are almost always about an opportunity to make more money for your program. That is what all of ours have been about and that is what Montana States is about in this case.

Boy the sense of humor is gone! The crazy thing is this thread stays alive and devides us all, and the bikini thread which brought us as close a brothers was closed. What a World:D :D

Texas A&M AD on the Montana St game and football schedule shifting...

In football news, ESPN approached us and Miami about a nationally-televised Thursday night game. Louisiana-Monroe cooperated with us in a schedule shift, and we will now travel to Miami for the game on Thursday, September 20, for a 6:45 kickoff, our time (7:45 in Miami).

The game against Louisiana-Monroe moves from September 22 to September 15. We have a signed agreement with Montana State, and we appreciate their cooperation in remaining flexible for a September 1 or 8 date. Hopefully, there will be news for you very soon on final details of the other two out-of-conference games.

i completely agree STACCATS, any DIAA would take the money over going to NDSU. if you think about it....both games are winable although 2 VERY tough opponents. but would you rather lose to Texas A&M and get $400,000 or lose to an up-and-coming DIAA power????? easy choice here, any1 would do it:nod:

You guys are both so full of yourselves. The whole deal about taking the money are going to Texas is a hollow arguement. The Texas game was not the same weekend that you were scheduled to play NDSU. You opted out of NDSU to play a patsie DII game. You guys need to give it up already.

Moderators have real jobs to do too, then we come home to our families and whatnot...the matter was teken care of, if you have a problem with the post, report it to the Moderator like myself and it will be dealt with in a timely manner...This instance was dealt with within 24 hours...not too shabby
