Chase Edmonds Stat line yesterday was silly good. He broke his own record for single game rushing yards...

Both have fewer touchdowns, a lower efficiency, and significantly less yards passing and especially running than Gubrud...and both against a weaker schedule.

I always leave a few names off that I want to see a little more out of. He is a possible one down the line. No doubt about that. Playing better than last year for sure. He has vastly improved him completion percentage and may have gone from a fringe NFL prospect to a guy who ends up in a major all-star game.

Because of the others. He clearly has more offensive weapons at SDSU so I gave the nod to SHSU.

Yes I wanted to see one more big game. I always have 2-3 names that I leave off completely that I think could be added. I just want to make sure those players aren't a flash in the pan and so far he would have to tank 2-3 games to see his numbers fall from being worthy at this point.

He is one of a couple that I was eluding to who may drop for someone playing really well. I may bump Gustafson or a RB up to the list next week and drop Bailey. I'm thinking Holloway of CSU if he has a big game but could go either way.

This offense might be better than 2011 when Spadola (1st team AA) and Drawl were the two WR's and Lum finished second to BLM in the Payton race. I'd love to see a Lehigh-EWU playoff game!

Yes I wanted to see one more big game. I always have 2-3 names that I leave off completely that I think could be added. I just want to make sure those players aren't a flash in the pan and so far he would have to tank 2-3 games to see his numbers fall from being worthy at this point.

I always leave a few names off that I want to see a little more out of. He is a possible one down the line. No doubt about that. Playing better than last year for sure. He has vastly improved him completion percentage and may have gone from a fringe NFL prospect to a guy who ends up in a major all-star game.

No question about the potential. And, "on paper" it comes down to Lehigh and Fordham with 1 if by land and 2 if by air. Assuming everyone holds service, October 29 should be circled. Keep this in mind--both Pelletier and Casey return next year with a better passer in Mayes...and the entire backfield is back as well. I am drooling....

Just out of curiosity why is the SHSU QB ahead of Christion in being in the top 5? Very similar stats but TC has played a lot tougher competition. Is it W/L or the fact that TC has Goedert and Wieneke?

Nice to see two StFU players on your lists. Congrats to Da'Jon Lee for getting some well deserved recognition. He stepped in when both OLB went down in camp with knee injuries and has played at a really high level for a true freshman against some strong non-conference competition.

And while I know that only defensive stats should play into Lorenzo Jerome's case for Defensive POY, I have to point out that he played three snaps on offense last Saturday - including lining up at tailback on one play and catching a 48 yard TD pass on a wheel route.
