Not sure exactly what happened, but Morgan Ensberg was just added to the National League All Star team.

On one side, I'm absolutely happy that another Astro made the team. There's not another player who deserves it more than him. But now with him getting on the team, I don't have any more fodder to rip into Tony LaRussa. Ensberg gets in! (http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/front/3260413)

Well deserved...

The guy has basically carried their offense all year. It is great to see a "lesser known name" get props for his great play.

Jimmy Rollins and Billy Wagner of the Phils likewise joined the NL roster late. Rollins got on because of an injury to Izturis.

Izturis, Rollins, and Eckstein. We sure have some crappy shortstops in the National League. Why does the AL have so many good ones?

Because that's where they (AL shortstops) are and Nomar is hurt. :doh:
