Lehigh knocked off American tonight at Stabler Arena, 51-49, when Phil Anderson grabbed on offensive rebound and put it back for the winning points with under 3 seconds left. Lehigh has had a tough OOC schedule, losing a lot of close games to a number of 'bigger' programs. Perhaps those 'lumps' will prove to have helped. Mountain Hawks defense held the Eagles to 26% shooting. Lehigh travels to a much improved Navy team on Wednesday night. Lehigh has never lost a league opener under Coach Taylor.

Colgate won too, 73-71 over Army in OT. :hurray:

Army is much improved based upon there early season results, so that is a good win.

The Easton Red Rovers greeted their ex-teammate Alex Meade and his 'Riders' tonight with a decisive 37-25 win in Easton's Invitational.
Match turned on Easton's Colin Dailey 'upsetting' Ribolla by a major decision, 16-4, after trailing 4-1 after one period. Dailey used major legs to tilt Ribolla four times into 3- point near falls.
Easton also got Technical Fall from Jordan Oliver at 119 and Falls at 189 and 215. Handlovic, finished the proceedings with a tough 4-2 win over Keech at 112. Rodney's Meade put on a takedown clinic at 145, but was not able to pin, getting a Technical Fall.

It is going to be a long winter on College Hill, I'm afraid. I really really hope I'm wrong...
