Monmouth University's Miles Austin, a rookie wide receiver with the Dallas Cowboys, just returned a 93 yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the playoffs against Seattle.

17-13 Dallas right now in the third quarter, and Austin's return came right after Seattle had taken a 13-10 lead.

Congrats to Miles!

He was very good in college. I remember he was one of two small schoolers who should have been drafted last year in him and Derrick Ross of Tarleton State and both made their rosters. Jason Hunter was another one who probably should have been drafted and he made the roster too.

I just remember Austin whenever he played RMU. Always came up big and always seemed to do something to hurt us, even if he only had a couple catches. Either blew open a block or drew a penalty or something.

Definitely a big fan of his.

Agreed. He was a great talent and its nice to see another NEC alum in the NFL.
