Missouri State football coach Terry Allen has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the school through the 2011 season.
"We're here for the long haul," Allen said after his new contract was approved by the Missouri State Board of Governors. Allen will make a base salary of $99,707, a three-percent raise from last season.
The Bears posted a 2-9 record in Allen's first season as head coach. He signed a five-year contract last January.
Eight assistants also received new one-year contracts.
