Hopefully, this portends the future as the Mountain Hawks this afternoon 'took down' both UC-Davis and Stanford at Stanford in back to back dual meets by scores of 33-8 and 34-9, respectively. Hawks won 8 of 10 versus the Aggies and 7/10 against the Cardinal. Strobel was very pleased with the aggressiveness coming off the holiday break, with 5 falls and 4 major decisions.

It's too bad my buddy Derek Moore at 141 lbs. is injured - Pac-10 champ last year and shooting for All America this year. Might have gotten a few more points for us

Yes, it was a shame Moore was out. Ciasulli would have given him a good go, though a 100% Moore would certainly be considered the favorite. Hope the Aggies get healthy in time for when it really counts!

Lehigh finished it's western swing at Arizona State wrestling three dual meets today and winning two. Mountain Hawks beat American University 25-19 and then Arizona State 38-12, but lost to Cal State-Fullerton, 27-18 on bonus points. Record improves to 8-5 on the season.
Next up is Navy at Annapolis on the 13th.
