Sophomore quarterback Zach Bednarczyk (Wallington, N.J.) threw three touchdown passes in the first half and finished with a career-high 329 yards of total offense as No. 17 Villanova (4-1, 2-0 CAA Football) cruised to a 42-7 victory over Elon (2-3, 1-1 CAA Football) at Rhodes Stadium on Saturday afternoon. In the first-ever meeting between the teams, the Wildcats scored on all five of their possessions in the first half and eventually led 42-0 by late in the third quarter.
