Garrison Hearst

Cardinals running back Garrison Hearst returned from major knee surgery to gain 1,070 yards in 1995 and win comeback honors. He missed all of '99 and 2000 with a severe ankle injury but returned with 1,206 rushing yards for the 49ers in winning the award again.

I'm wanting to say I recall Garrison Hearst playing his last year at U of Georgia with a torn ACL. I remember them saying he was freak of nature or something because he was able to play.
