We buy our own hype. Looked like **** last week too, NSU were just too overmatched

Is any of it that Stony Brook is better than was thought?

Didn't seem like it against Temple.

Nope. They were going to smash everyone.

The Seawolves are definitely back in the conversation for a top CAA spot. But there's a lot of football left to be played. Too many penalties on the Spiders...

I said in a thread last week SBU would make the playoffs. And I said in a thread 3 weeks ago that I hated all the hype for this Spiders team

Won't be the first time Rocco has been out coached by Peiori. Richmond had a good year last year, but in the past, Rocco teams seem to find a way to choke in the bigger games. They look horrible today.

We aren't that good. JMU is the class of CAA

a woodshed beatin' on Long Island......not surprised Coach Piore had his team prepared, but the point differential.....did not see that coming.....and looks like only 4500 in attendance. This team deserves more fan support..

I haven't seen us play like this since we beat Army in 2012. A complete turnaround from the Temple game.

So I haven't gotten a chance to watch this yet, but is this a case of Richmond playing horrible, SB playing well or a little bit of both?
This was their most challenging road game of the season.

It's usually a little bit of both early on in the season. Looking forward to watching some of this.

I heard SBU was able to tee off on Richmond's QB because the Spiders showed no ability to run.

One Tribe. One Family.

I was hopeful that Rocco's leadership had finally turned that last corner and the team would show more toughness and consistency this year.

Looks like I'll have to keep on wishin'.

His remark post-game that 'I tell the team that 8 wins gets us in' was ridiculous. Yeah, Coach, take the team in as a #12 seed and see how far you get. Nothing like setting the bar high.

This comment had me scratching my head too. Come on.

UR's coach my freshman year told us our goal was to "Win 6." We won 1. I don't think we won 6 in his first three years combined.
