Saturday, September 17
#2 Richmond @ #25 Stony Brook: Spiders fight a physical battle but their defense is too much for the sea wolves offense 31-7
#24 Towson @ #20 Villanova : Maybe the deciding game in who gets the last CAA playoff spot if the conference shapes up the way most of us expect (not likely) 21-17
#10 James Madison @ North Carolina: JMU finally gets a measurement stick? UNC is good, JMU still has no defense 56-14
Norfolk State @ #12 William & Mary : W&M isn't playing good right now but Norfolk is worse. 21-7
Fayetteville State @ Elon : Any other D2 team and I'd pick against Elon 37-21
Delaware @ Wake Forest: I want this to be interesting but Wake beating Duke ruined my upset prediction 34-21
New Hampshire @ Dartmouth: Toss up, Dartmouth seemed the better team last year 35-28
Holy Cross @ #22 Albany: I like Albany a lot 38-14

Last week: 11-0 Season: 20-3
Harvard 37 Rhode Island 14 - Maybe just heading to Newport for a little R&R would be better use of a September weekend for Rhody?
Richmond 24 Stony Brook 16 - The Sea Wolves defense slows down the Spiders, but not enough.
Villanova 21 Towson 16 - honestly I have no idea about the result of this game.
North Carolina 50 James Madison 26 - Dukes get a taste of their "score at will" medicine.
William & Mary 30 Norfolk State 7 - Did W&M leave for the MEAC?
Elon 27 Fayetteville State 0 - re-enactment of the Longest Yard as Elon plays a prison team.
Wake Forest 30 Delaware 10 - Blue Hens get "smoked" in Tobacco Road.
Dartmouth 24 New Hampshire 20 - The Big Green surprise their in-state rival.
Albany 24 Holy Cross 23 - Albany goes to 3-0.No really, they are 3-0. Not kidding. 3-0 Holy **** they are 3-0.

I'd love to know why you stated "W&M isn't good." Maybe you watched the game in Raleigh and/or Hampton so you're basing your statement off those observations. A bad loss at a very good NCSU squad and win over Hampton isn't enough to tell you that.
I also don't put a lot of stock in our high national ranking because those coaches and "experts" know nothing about W&M, either.
Good job at the end of the game for your Dallas Cowboys, by the way.

I'd love to know why you stated "W&M isn't good."
I haven't seen anything in their offense to really think they can score points to keep up with some of the better teams in the league. It's only been two weeks so that can easily change but you take out dedmon and what happens then? Im judging from following the games, watching when I can, and right now I don't believe this is a top 20 team in the nation. 20-35 probably, so maybe bad wasn't the right word. I think next week will give me a very good measuring stick as you will face a common opponent.

Cluley still appears to be Cluless at times but the Tribe can be dangerous in CAA play.

New Hampshire @ Dartmouth: Toss up, Dartmouth seemed the better team last year 35-28
In the interest of full disclosure, did you realize Dartmouth has not beaten UNH since the mid 1970's? (18 UNH wins, 2 ties in the pre-OT days) Did you know Dartmouth graduated its starting QB, 2 top WRs and their leading rusher and this is their first game of the 2016 season? Did you know that Dartmouth only tackles foam rubber dummies in practice, and the only time UNH does that is when they are not wearing helmets?

Rhode Island @ Harvard
- Might be tough for Rhody to get a win this year, maybe if they were playing Columbia.
#2 Richmond @ #25 Stony Brook
- Seawolves just got a beating by Temple. Spiders find little resistance on Long Island.
#24 Towson @ #20 Villanova
- Neither has really impressed so far, going with home field and Wildcats looking slightly better against their FBS team Wk 1.
#10 James Madison @ North Carolina
- Tarheels lost by a wider margin against Georgia than Nicholls. Dukes get upset in their first presence of resistance in 2016.
Norfolk State @ #12 William & Mary
- Tribe win fairly easily, but not by as much as Spiders beat Spartans this week.
Fayetteville State @ Elon
- Fayetteville seems to be a bad D-II team. Phoenix better win this one.
Delaware @ Wake Forest
- This game probably gets completed before most of the games starting 30 minutes earlier. Want to pick the Hens, but taking the Deacons in a low scoring affair.
New Hampshire @ Dartmouth
- Wildcats still trying to get clicking, how well Big Green do could give insight to survival of playoff streak.
Holy Cross @ #22 Albany
- Danes keep momentum rolling against a Crusaders team that seems to not be competitive in the Patriot.

#24 Towson @ #20 Villanova - 3:30 PM (If this weren't at Villanova, I might go the other way)
#10 James Madison @ North Carolina - 3:30 PM (JMU has the talent, but the refs make it extremely difficult to escape UNC-CHeat with a win; not to mention, none of their players have had to bother with going to class in years)
Norfolk State @ #12 William & Mary - 6 PM (who knows - the play calling has left a lot to be desired, but that could be the effect of working around so many injuries)
Fayetteville State @ Elon - 6 PM (giving the Phoenix the benefit of the doubt, b/c this would be a bad loss)
Delaware @ Wake Forest - 6:30 PM (tough to tell on both programs, right now)
New Hampshire @ Dartmouth - 7 PM
Holy Cross @ #22 Albany - 7 PM (avoided the letdown last week, easily - the Great Danes could end up being a real player)

#2 Richmond @ Stony Brook - Richmond is a legit national title contender. Stony Brook can't score, so their very good D will eventually wear down.
#25 Towson @ #20 Villanova - 3:30 PM - Towson has had success in Philly. Despite looking awful in the first half against St. Francis, the trend continues is a hugely important game for the Tigers.
#10 James Madison @ North Carolina - JMU hangs around for a while, but eventually the old 1-A vs 1-AA depth comes into play.
Norfolk State @ #15 William & Mary - Tribe starts to show they really are a quality team with a little home cooking.
Fayetteville State @ Elon - They have to beat a D2, right? RIGHT??
Delaware @ Wake Forest - 6:30 PM - If this were KC Keeler's Delaware team and it was 7-8 years ago, I'd go Chickens for the upset. Not so much today.
New Hampshire @ Dartmouth - I don't know much about Dartmouth, but I do know UNH has played two games, one against an FBS and one vs a quality FCS opponent, while Dartmouth opens its season. UNH in a reasonably close game.
Holy Cross @ #19 Albany - Toughest game to pick this week, but I think the home team has shown enough to suggest they are worthy of that #19 ranking... for now.

Maybe we will use another Rutgers transfer today, a big tall Scarf to cover the blemishes at WR .....
Our own Delaware fans are going to learn just how good our Defense is today.....
not predicting any wins, as Delaware has lost stud starting RB Wes Hills, one OL starter, and now our QB .... not a good Omen going into our FBS game, but we will play some D....

Richmond looking every bit as enthused as last week. Playoffs are no lock for this team.

IF UR ends up losing this one, better to do it now than toward the end of the season. SBU is loaded with FBS transfers and may have just had a bad day against Temple and are better than we thought.
