Nebraska lost their starting punter in a car crash a month before training camp opened.

So..when it was time for the Corn Husker's first punt of the year, they sent the punt team out....without a punter...The rest of the team took a knee on the sidelines...and the coaching staff took off their hats. Nebraska took an intentional delay of game penalty, before sending in a true freshman to handling the punting chores.

I doubt there was a dry Cornhusker eye in the house.

And, in a classy move of their own....Fresno State declined the delay of game penalty.
