I think I detect a little bias against UTC in the JSU poster's choices. xlolx Unfortunately, I'm afraid the SoCon will only see 2 again this year. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, because IMO, this is going to be a very strong FCS conference this year. Going with the three, however, I pick Samford, UTC, and The Citadel.

SoCon teams, who want those seven D-1 wins, need to schedule Pioneer teams (Davidson, Morehead St., Jacksonville, maybe Stetson), vs. D-2's......Pioneer teams are "counters"....

Western Carolina gets screwed (again)...dangit!
The Citadel is just outside of the bracket after a strong comeback following an 0-2 start in Conference Play and Overall
Wofford is this year's Mercer - just loses too many 1 and 2 point heartbreakers to make the cut - even though they are good enough to be in the Playoffs
VMI rides the arm of Cobb and scares everyone, but in the end they don't have enough depth to make it into the dance
