Wow GSU is second leading the charge. CCU is number 1 with 77% all time. I'm not sure how long that will last for Coastal. A downer year next year (which is possible with a lot of their starters graduating) they will most likely fall a few spots.
Making GSU #1. (as long as we don't repeat last years season a few more times)
:smiley_wi :D :D

Wow.. I guess we are on the same page.
My sister went to Dayton. They play their games in a stadium built for multiple high schools to share... Great school, decent BBall program. They don't play anyone hard in football.

The site leaves out six years for Georgetown from 1964-70, probably because these years were not considered NCAA games.
Anyway, here's another site with some good information:

I used to live in Dayton. Drove by the arena and field a couple times, but never went.

Except that the information on that website tends to be questionable. Fordham has 725 NCAA sanctioned varsity wins in its history. Fordham also has about 300 wins in its history against non-sanctioned opponents for about 1,025 total wins (which Fordham notes in its media guide). When I emailed the website to ask why it lists only 425 wins, the answer I received was that it was deducting the 300 non-sanctioned wins from the 725 total to arrive at 425. I tried to explain that the 725 wins did not include the non-sanctioned wins but after a few rounds of email I just gave up : smh :
So the information about Fordham is blatantly incorrect as per the official NCAA record book. See page 181 of the Official NCAA Division I Football Record Book (below):

Only among active teams. Their winning % of .271 swamps the record of Siena (33-117, .220) who dropped FB in 2003.
Albany fans never give up a chance to tweak the crosstown 'aints.

Let's give a shout-out to Lehigh, which has won 59% of its games since 1945. If you take away the years they struggled in the 1960's, the percentage is probably closer to .667, championship work in many leagues.

This site is not about all time wins it's about Wins since 1945
Fordham have not even played 725 games since 1945, so it's impossible for them to even have won that many

I'm not talking about the original link in this thead.
I'm talking about the link provided by DFW Hoya to a website which claims to list all-time wins.

You got that right. Lehigh had the absolute worst football program in the country from 1962-1968 going 10-53-1 (and 4-40-1 from 1963-67, never winning more than one game in that five year span!). Fred Dunlap, who arrived as HC in 1965 went 2-25 his first three years. Program started to improve in '68 with a 3-7 record and by 1971 one of the winningest programs over the last 35 years in the country was underway. Fred attended our Lambert Cup team of '73 banquet at last years L-L game and still looked in great shape-must be around 80 now. Hope to see him in '07, again. A real classy guy.
