For those who tend to enjoy throwing down a little cash, thought I'd share that in Vegas you can find the FCS futures at MGM Grand. Here are current odds:

$25 on Montana wouldn't be a bad gamble....

Are you sure this is to win? At the bottom it says FCS Championship Game. That would imply making it to the finals.

That's likely just stating the date. I think I'd go a hundo on UNI and like 3 on NDSU.

Yes, I'm sure it is to win. There's a bunch of FBS conferences on the page too. And the print on the bottom is the date as there is a disclaimer saying game must be within one week of date printed for action to count.

That's what I meant. I'll be down there for SEMA this year. The odds will change, but I might have to make a bet or two.

Yeah they may change slightly but I'd say until season starts they'll be pretty static.

JSU has a 0/0 chance of winning the Championship.
not because we lost every starter we've ever had and we now have no team...
but because there's 1000% that Chattanooga wins the championship. Obviously.

Looks like they pretty much read the bracket from last year and placed the odds.

Prolly not, just for the health of the players. But the NCAA insists we go through the motions.

Almost certainly this.

Looking at the list, it's pretty close the even money for NDSU vs the field.

No. It's not worth it. Chattanooga will rain fire down upon the bracket this year.

Sounds like I need to get in on this 20/1 payout for Chattanooga then :D

You must have missed the memo for UND and their weight room situation. :p

Actually, NDSU is not a bad bet 9/5. although I'd take the field 6/1. The worst bet on the board? IMO JSU at 5/2.

I'll take UND at 6 - 1

Lol, you startled me for a second thinking those were actually the printed odds for them!
I wouldn't bet the house on NDSU, but that's the only one I'd consider putting serious money on. I am very confident that they'll win, but someone like UNI might just show one game in the playoffs and make me sweat.

Why don't you just throw your money into a bonfire.
I will take your bet at 6-1

Imo, I think Illinois State is way overrated at 12/1. I see them having a down year. I agree with UNI and NDSU being the only bets worth considering. If SDSU can get consistent QB play, they could be dangerous and worth a shot at 20/1, but that would be wishful thinking at this point.

Not sure any are a good bet except for NDSU.

I'll be in Vegas in mid-October (FCS week 7 or 8). It'll be interesting to see if & how much the odds change.

If you're UNI, you fail to live up to your hype. It's what you do.

IF I were/was a North Dakota State fan I am upset! The Bison have been jinxed!! The odds makers spelled your name wrong! Do they have to pay off if you bet on Noth Dakota State and North Dakota State wins it. LOL...xlolx
