The Elon University football teams opens the 2016 season on Sept. 3 against Gardner-Webb at Rhodes Stadium. Prior to that, we'll be counting down the top five plays from last season. *This week's top play comes courtesy of running back Malcolm Summers. Summers rattled off a 43-yard touchdown run at Stony Brook last season to help the maroon and gold to a 21-7 road victory.
