SDSU had 74 players make the MVFC Honor Roll last season. Coach Stig has always had players with really good grades. Including a conference leading 8 with over a 3.5.

LOUIS — Seventy-four student-athletes on the South Dakota State University football team, including a league-best eight President's Council Academic Excellence Award recipients, were honored Monday for their work in the classroom as members of the 2015-16 Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll.
