No one on current Villanova roster is assigned #26.

Wide receiver Josh McGrigg signs with Villanova.

Speedy receivers from Virginia were a priority for Nova in 2016.

It wasn't long ago that Villanova got the call from Josh McGrigg, a speedy receiver from Alexandria, Virginia's Mount Vernon high school; he committed to the program verbally on January 20th (http://www.vuhoops.com/2016/1/20/10803856/villanova-football-recruiting-2016-josh-mcgrigg-verbal-commitment). He is a 5'11" 175-pound wide receiver and defensive back, who could find himself on either side of the ball at Villanova -- though we think he might be a fit at receiver, where the 'Cats could use some speedy playmakers to help out their young quarterbacks downfield.
Also a talented kick returner, McGrigg made the Richmond Times-Dispatch's All-State Second Team (http://www.richmond.com/article_8faf6f46-1a4d-59af-a9d6-6f4eac0d4e37.html) at that position.
