One of the biggest tasks facing Furman’s football program this fall is replacing All-America linebacker Cory Magwood, the Paladins’ 2015 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year who graduated with 28 starts and 337 tackles, but head coach Bruce Fowler is optimistic his 2016 unit can successfully handle the challenge.
