Bondra nets #500!!!

Congrats to Chicago Blackhawk Peter Bondra for scoring his 500th career NHL goal tonight vs Toronto. Bondra played in a period where the trap and clutching and grabbing was king. To put in perspective, my NHL hero Denis Savard only scored 473 career NHL games. Congrats Peter Bondra!!!
It was the GWG as the Hawks prevail...

I wouldn't know Peter Bondra from Peter Fonda. But congrats to him anyway. He's obviously good at what he does, whatever that is. They could drop the sport of hockey tomorrow and I wouldn't notice.

Was it Bondra that led the Caps to the Cup Finals in '98? I used to love watching hockey and was back into it last year until the Flyers sucked agaisnt the Sabers. This year has to been a complete disaster. I still check the scores and records but wouldn't waste 3 hours right now to watch 'em. Hockey's a great sport and i really hope the NHL gets it together. Things are looking good when your most watched team per ratings/attendance, the Penguins, is considering moving.
