SI Snub of FCS!

I got my SI double issue and was looking for a short note or picture of the title game, but instead saw the score and details of the riot on the UMASS campus. But it could be worse the score or champions of the D2and D3 games were not even mentioned.:bang: :bang: :bang:

That's a little sad that they couldn't even include it in the crap they put in the front. :(

USA Today was kind of worse. DII and DIII had longer articles about the Championship games. Ours was smaller, not to take credit from DII and DIII but ours should have been the same length.

Obviously USA Today agreed with ESPN that DII and DIII are more important. Why else would they both get better announcing crews than the FCS title game?

the FCS title game was on a Friday night (as was the 1st semifinal) and got the usual ESPN Friday night crew. The 2nd semifinal, D2 & D3 title games were on Saturday and got their Saturday crews.

A lot of copyright issues with the bikini thread being published. I could see the Cap'n taking on that job, Ralph doing the preview, and Retro doing a special deal for the 1st 100 customers. xlolx

If that's the case, then FCS needs to get away from Friday night and into a slot that gets decent coverage. :twocents:
