Jordan Powell, UNH TE was 1st team AA on a couple of lists. I assume he is not on the All Conference Team due to his recently announce 6 game suspension for "Team and University rules infractions".

I assume that is correct but if he returns and plays at a high level as he did last year I see no reason why he wouldn't be named all conference when he returns for the final 5 games plus any post season games UNH participates in.

Or the three to UNH?

Yea. Not that i think the Spiders should have been unanimous by any stretch, but you sort of hope that the media do a little research on this stuff.

Big day for the Spiders but a very high bar of expectations to jump over.

Or the three to UNH?

Lazy media just looking at past performances

Or the three to UNH?

I kind of get this one though I still would not have put them first.

UNH misses Richmond, Villanova and Delaware this year.

At home, UNH gets W&M, JMU, Stony Brook, and Albany.
UNH has to travel to URI, Elon, Towson and Maine.

That is a schedule set up to compete for a conference title.

Don't think it was lazy media, as they didn't vote in this poll. Poll is based on head coaches and Media Relations Directors.. You'd think both of those groups would be a little more informed and not just look at past performance.

I can see a 6-2 mark with this line up...

I would agree mostly. Powell would definitely have to be there if not for the suspension. I would have put Villanova LB Austin Calitro and maybe Emmanuel Holder of Towson but outside of that I can't really complain.

Penn State transfer Troy Reeder would be one I would like to see be good enough to make all CAA, Don't get him confused with Colby Reeder who was the HS player of the year in the state of Delaware.... hey, we need some sleepers to make the list

Im certainly biased, but Austin Calitro should be recognized. He had a strong junior season in which he led the 'Cats in tackles (more than AA Don Cherry)

I like Calitro. He will get some NFL attention this fall based on his junior film.
